Southwire Announces Organizational Changes for 2020

Carrollton, GA – October 14, 2019: Kelley Park, Southwire’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources, has announced that she will be leaving the organization at the beginning of 2020 to pursue other interests.

Park joined Southwire in 1996, and since that time, her passion for the company’s culture and its people has allowed her to serve in a variety of areas including legal, community/labor relations, communications, shared services, inclusivity, benefits, human resources strategy and more. She was integral in the introduction of Southwire’s diversity and inclusivity program, as well as key Giving Back initiatives like Project GIFT and the POWER Fund.

“I have always believed that the drive, can-do attitude and team spirit of our people are the reasons behind the company’s successes and what sets Southwire apart from other businesses,” said Park. “I have enjoyed being a part of this unique family culture that has allowed me to build a career around growth, involvement and opportunity for our people.”

To ensure a smooth transition, Park will continue to lead Southwire’s Human Resources team through the next three months as the company begins the search for a new Human Resources leader.

“Kelley’s experience and commitment to our employees, our values and our strategic direction have been invaluable as she has helped to position us to attract key talent and meet the human resources needs of our future,” said Rich Stinson, president and CEO. “We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors, but she will be deeply missed by the Southwire team.”
